CalvesClub — Section 3: The Workshop

The Workshop — Peterborough

Cut, built, and finished
under one roof
in Cambridgeshire.

Each Ventra leaves our workshop slowly. Hides are selected for grain consistency before pattern marking, then cut, edge-painted, and assembled by a small team of resident makers. We work in limited batches—not because it is fashionable to say so, but because the bench can only hold so much at one time.

There is no factory line. There is no anonymous middleman. The bag that arrives at your door was assembled, inspected, and packed under one roof in Peterborough, England.

The top handles and all zipper pull tabs are hand-stitched by our artisans—the stress points that determine a bag’s longevity. The main panels are stitched on heavy-duty industrial machines, because permanence at the seam requires a consistency that hand-stitching alone cannot guarantee across every run.

CalvesClub — Section 5: Six Colourways

Six Colourways

Six ways to carry
the same standard.

Each colourway is dyed and finished in its own batch. Variations in tone and grain are characteristic of full-grain leather — no two bags are identical.

Every variant is built to the same specification. No hierarchy between colourways.
